The Rainbow Belongs to GOD🌈 #GODisLOVE

God uses things for good and to help His children grow closer to Jesus. Satan doesn’t like that so he steals what God intended for good and uses it for bad and to lead God’s children astray.

When you see rainbow colors or a rainbow flag, what comes to your mind? Nine times out of ten when you see anything rainbow you automatically think of the LGBTQ+ community. The rainbow is attached to the LGBTQ+ community, but God doesn’t want that because the rainbow was intended for that, it was intended for something else.

In Genesis 7, God sent a flood on Earth because He wasn’t pleased with all the evil and sin that was happening with this creation. He sent the flood to wipe out creation and to start all over. The only people that weren’t wiped out in the flood was Noah, his sons, and his son’s wife, and 2 of every animal.

God then made a promise to Noah, his sons, and His children that He will never flood and destroy the Earth again. In Genesis 9:11-14 “I establish My covenant with you; and all flesh shall never again be cut off by the water of the flood, neither shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth. God said, “This is my sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all successive generations; I set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth. It shall come about, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow will be seen in the cloud.”

The rainbow belongs to GOD. Genesis Chapter 9 (NASB) is labeled: Covenant of the Rainbow. When we see a rainbow, God wants us, His children, to be reminded of the promise He made us in Genesis 9. He wants us to keep faith in Him despite what’s going on in the world and in our personal lives because we serve a faithful God. Whatever God promises, He fulfill. Amen.

What to do now?

  1. Read Genesis Chapters 6-9 so you can see for yourself why God flooded the Earth and how He uses the rainbow as a symbol of His covenant between Him and his children.
  2. When you see rainbow colors or any rainbow of any sort, associate that with God and the covenant. #GODisLOVE
