How to Keep Faith in Jesus During Your Hardships

It’s not always easy to remain faithful in Jesus when you feel like your life is falling apart. But I am here to assure you that even at your lowest God is with you.

Here are 3 ways you can keep faith in Jesus Christ during your hardships in life:

1. Instead of focusing on the problem, keep your focus on Jesus

When you put too much energy on the problem that you are going through it leads you to always complaining, blaming God for the situation that you are in, and resenting God. Overall, you get stuck in the cycle of being in a negative mindset. But, if you keep your focus on Jesus, He blesses you with peace and comfort in your situation.

2. Reflect on how Jesus brought you out of previous hardships

Whether you are Christian or not, it’s inevitable going through tough times. So instead of trying to avoid them or have them break you, develop the mindset that your hardship is not the end all be all and that you will surely overcome.

I want you to think of a time in the past where you experienced hardship. Think of all the emotions you went through and how God brought you through it all. Then, remember that if God brought you out of that previous hardship, He will get you through the one you are going through now, and the ones you will experience in the future.

3. Pray this prayer: Lord Jesus, my faith is running low in this very moment. But even at my lowest  Lord, I pray that you are able to help me stay faithful to You. May you provide me with the strength to seek you everyday even though I may not have the energy or desire to Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.

Like I mentioned earlier, sometimes we don’t yearn to spend time with God when we are in the midst of hardships which is why we should be honest with God on how we are feeling therefore He is able to provide us with what we need.

As someone who has had her fair share of hardships and is currently in the battle now, I want to let you know that even if it seems like things will never get better because you don’t know how they possibly can, just know that our Lord and  Savior Jesus Christ can make all things possible! We only have limited knowledge and vision on what can happen and what will happen. God has the last say and He can turn the impossible possible. Matthew 19:26 “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” AMEN!

May you find peace in God’s word,
